OBAMA: " U.S NOT AT WAR WITH ISLAM."

As he meets with Turkey, a  country that has, and still seeks to help broker a peace agreement between the Israeli and Palestinians, president Obama spoke to the world saying the U.S " is not and never will be at war with Islam." Call it soft power, call it the recruitment of impressionable moderates on the side of Islamic fundamentalism. Call it what you want, but don't call it soft. Obama is using the media as a powerful tool and finally the U.S is matching the message power that Osama Bin Laden and his decipels have used successfully for the past decade. Obama'ssolid  international approval rating makes this the right time to get the message out. By making clear that this is NOT a holy war, but a fight against fundamentalists, Obama continues to "box in" the enemy, not allowing them to group a whole religion against the West. Now we await a You TUbe retort from the Mountainous regions, an undisclosed location. It's 2009, battles are fought for the hearts and minds through embedded videos. Get used to it.
