Dear EVR: We quit!


op-ed from the NYT yesterday from an employee of AIG who filed for his resignation after giving his bonus to charity.  I think it was the right thing to do, however, all employees at AIG have to understand one thing:  the taxpayer kept your company from bankruptcy!  when a company goes bankrupt all employees lose more than their yearly bonus, they lose all their retirement savings (that is tied up in the company).  So don't act pissed that you had to give up one years salary, you are getting to keep your lifetime savings in tact.
