Late night legend David Letterman apologized to 2012 GOP hopeful Sarah Palin for his "knocked up" joke made a week ago after Palin and her daughter attended a Yankee game. Saying 18 year old Bristol, the famous daughter and mother to Levi Johnsons kid, got knocked up by Alex Rodriguez in the 7th inning when Palin was there with 14 year old Willow, started a whole controversy that for now, seems over. Palin accepted the apology on behalf of all women as well as women in the military. Her popularity will rise with each personal attack on her, a reverse effect of the 2008 campaign, when mudslinging slowed her momentum down on a McCain ticket that was resucitated briefly by her entrance onto the national stage.
