On the 4oth anniversary of the Manson murders this week, one Manson girl is about to be freed from her Carswell, Texas prison. The infamous Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme, who got her nickname from Manson, upon his hearing her squeak when the Manson family ranch owner George Spahn would pinch Fromme's butt. Fromme once tried to shoot President Ford in 1975 and has been jailed since, but has always claimed that no rounds were in the firing chamber. She at first wanted to talk to him , but thought it better, and more attention grabbing, if she brought the gun with her. What a healthy thought process. read article
