GOP DON'T FORGET YOU TRIED UNIVERSAL HEATH CARE ONCE UNDER NIXON

The Nixon plan, an idea that started for Tricky Dick back in 1947, after growing up poor and losing family members to Tuberculosis, never got off the ground. Vietnam and Watergate were too large in scope to allow the White House to push the notion of a Universal Health care plan through. The point is however, that the idea for universal care, if it is indeed Socialist, was once the solution from the right, not the left. read article
