The LA Times reports that cases of torched cars are up do to peeps not being able to pay their car notes. I guess all those Hyundai and Saturn commercials giving the customer the option of returning the car if they can't pay aren't working. That or MTV is filming a new season of Jackass. If you see a torched Honda parked in Nolita don't look at us. burn after reading.
