Surprise surprise, another dumb gun death in a violent country. A country that is SOOOO proud of it's right to bear arms, that it forgets the three originally intended purposes for the amendment were: (1) deterring undemocratic government; (2) auxiliary to a natural right of self-defense; and (3) maintaining an organized militia system. Nowhere does it say that jealous lovers, crackheads, angry violent hotheads were part of the original design. We're not blaming Steve Mcnair's untimely death on the failure of the shooter to understand the apparatus, we're asking Americans to look into why the U.S averages 30,000 gun deaths a year. The 13 year former Tennesse Titan andBaltimore Raven will be remembered for a toughness that shocked fans and players, as Mcnair would time and time again play through some of what appeared to be game or season ending injuries. He was 36.
More on the motive will follow. Until this firearm shit is reigned in, the sad stories will continue to make headlines.
