Sgt. James Crowley said the president's comment "offended not just officers in the Cambridge Police Department but officers around the country." Obama said he couldn't comment because he was friends with Professor Gates and that he didn't have all the facts. So why did he say during his Wednesday Press conference that the Cambridge officers probably acted "stupidly." This story will grow. The GOP will make sure it does.
