GOP HEAD MICHAEL STEELE SAYS THE HONEYMOON IS OVER

Michael Steele held a rally today to signify the beginning of the new GOP. NO more being afraid or ashamed or their own values. No more trying to win through building in DC. The time has come to build through everyday hardworking people. The Era of Apologizing he added, it's over. Funny, I never knew that Era ever really started.

 Hey Steele, listen up. You want to start over? Go take Meghan McCain out for drinks and a burger. While you wait for the food shut up and listen to her. Her ideas, a few of which she shared on the Colbert Report last night, are a decent start. It's ok to present strength. It's another thing to be in tune with the rythym of the street. Saying as you did today that you need to become a party thinking forward not looking back ,will take more than just holding a press conference. Humility and the ability to take in the opinions of the Now Generation will be key.So will sidelineing social issues and shutting the religious right out while you try to take the middle back.  Oh, and WHY the hell are we talking about this anyway? Enough with the 24-7 campaigning. Let's start fixing what's broken , which is pretty much everything, now including my water pipes in the kitchen. A kitchen whose floor is eroding by the day.
