POPE STAYS OUT OF THE NOTRE DAME FRAY

The Vatican and Pope Benedict (above), for now, are staying out of the politcal fireball that was President Barack Hussein Obama's visit to Notre Dame. The Pro Stem Cell research prez has pissed off hard core by the book Catholics. The issue is being raised further to potentially create a wedge between moderate and hard core conservative Catholic voters, as mid term Congressional elections get closer, as well as 2012. The next presidential campaign is never far and always in the back of the out of power party's mind. The Vatican has not yet jumped in to make a statement on the policies and mindset of Obama when it comes to abortion and stem cell research. read article
