OBAMA'S POPULARITY SLIPS IN OHIO. WHO CARES, THE ELECTION IS IN 2012
Polls showing that Obama's popularity is slipping in swing states like Ohio prove one thing. People are stressed that the Obama ideas for change haven't kicked in yet. That or people don't have confidence that they ever will.
Of course, at the drop of a hat, things could swing in the President's favor again. Those reasons could come from events that haven't even occurred yet, much in the way that the Beer Summit came about. Either way, consider this. The ground that the GOP thinks that it's making with independent voters and Blue Dog democrats since Obama's "stupidly" comment compounded the problems he's having pushing Health care along, will be neutralized when Republicans (except for Lindsey Graham of South Carolina) vote against Sonia Sotomayor for Supreme court nominee. Bye bye Latino vote.
